The Golden Key is the K-T District's highest honor, presented only six times in the organization's history and not once in the last fifteen years. When the District Board voted to bestow it on Bob Hillhouse for his work as Zone Chair and Webmaster, we engraved the piece.

The Project
The Golden Key Award has been presented six times in the K-T District's history, and not once in the last fifteen years. When the District Board voted to bring it back for 2026, they needed a piece worthy of the gap.
We engraved the award for Bob Hillhouse on our laser engraver. Clean, deep cut, even letterforms, no marker-and-rag finish. The kind of piece that sits on a shelf for decades.
About the Recipient
Bob Hillhouse has served the K-T District since 2010. A past board member, he is currently Zone Chair for the Knoxville area and the District's Webmaster, overseeing audio, video, and digital production for district events. The kind of person whose work most members never see directly but everyone benefits from.
